Gayà meets VCF Inclusivo

Valencia CF captain José Luis Gayà returned to action this past weekend, playing the entirety of the 1-0 victory over CA Osasuna at Mestalla.
Before the game, he met with some of the players from VCF Inclusivo, the VCF Foundation's DI team, for a chat organised by coordinator Osvaldo Márquez.
Alejandro, Álvaro, Enzo, Javier, Manuel, Mateo and Rebeca posed questions to Gayà, and offered encouragement to both him and the team.
Gayà advised Rebeca, who herself is recovering from a serious knee injury, that "the most important thing when you get injured is to try to come back in the best possible way, not rush and enjoy your football, which in the end is what we like doing the most. Injuries are part of football and you have to look at it that way."
The fullback also had some advice on being a good captain, which he applies to his everyday work at Valencia CF.
“We must try, above all, to be an example. We have to bring the group together and be united.”
